Daniel and the Lion will be playing a benefit concert for Habitat for Humanity at the Majestic Theatre on April 28, and they’re giving away a free copy of their new EP - Secret Stuff - to everyone who attends.

Jimmie Linville ("the Lion") explained that the EP contains several of the band’s recordings that have never been released and will never be released again.“It’s a collection of lost songs that were a secret until now,” Linville said. “And after this show, it’ll likely disappear again, only this time into a few hundred iTunes libraries.”

Daniel and the Lion is Jimmie Linville on guitars and vocals, and Daniel Pingrey on keys, marimba(!) and other percussion.

The Marc LaMere Trio and Gabriel Reed are opening.
