Georgeous weather, if a bit on the hot side (not to mention the long lines for water) could not dampen the energy and the spirit of the 70,000+ strong crowd massed onto the lawns of Grant Park, a beautiful strip of green wedged between Lake Michigan and Lakeshore Drive/Chicago skyline.
